WIEF Young Leaders Network (WYN)

The WIEF Young Leaders Network (WYN) was established as an outcome of the proceedings of the 2nd World Islamic Economic Forum in November 2006. Chaired by Dato' Nazir Razak, the WIEF Young Leaders Network is poised to become the prime movers of change in the Muslim world, devoted to put plans into actions. Our Forum thus reflects the proactive nature of the Network, discussing on pre-approved programmes of action.

The WIEF Young Leaders Network was established primarily as a networking platform:

•	to strengthen business partnerships and create synergies for the development of the Muslim world
•	to empower and accord young Muslim leaders with the necessary responsibilities and leadership opportunities to take over the helm of the Muslim world in the near future
•	to garner a united voice to speak in favour of progress, prosperity and peace for the Muslim world and beyond

Such aims therefore require the Network to adopt a strictly proactive agenda in order to stay relevant. It is therefore our prime obligation to continue mooting out carefully designed practical programmes, which will be duly discussed at subsequent Forums. Indeed, seven months since its inception, the WIEF Young Leaders Network has successfully conceptualized two pilot programmes dubbed the "Groom a Leader" and "Let's Plug-In Education", and we will continue churning out practical work programmes in the foresee able future.
